The features of PROGRIP.
Over forty years of experience: we have reached our current market position through a long experience. We started to make our products in 1960 in Cassano Magnago, in the old factory in via Roma n. 13. In the same year we became members of the Chamber of Commerce with the number 84585. However the owners of Plastiche Cassano, Mr. Francesco Assaghi founded the original company in 1925 which was located in Cassano Magnago, via Mazzel, 42. At that time, Plastiche Cassano was specialized in the production of handlebar handles made with buffalo horns. Immediately after the Second World War the first knobs made of plastic, Bakelite and acetate were produced. In those days the production capacity was around 1,000 pairs of knobs a day. On the day of today we produce more than 200.00 pairs of knobs a day. 70% of our products are exported all over the world.
But Progrip is not just about knobs.
Being also manufacturers of motocross and enduro masks, our technology has led us to transfer the know-how acquired in the field of ski and snowboard masks.
The step from the motorcycle trails to the snowy slopes has been relatively simple.
All our ski products have been highly tested by world champions directly in the most important competitions.
Quality of raw materials from highly reputable suppliers:
It is vital for us to use first quality raw materials, purchased from highly reliable suppliers, with consistency of superior quality. The raw materials comply with the European standard safety standards EN / 71 (non-toxic materials). Plastiche Cassano carries out a rigorous control on the quality of the raw material, both in the company and in specialized laboratories that issue quality certificates.
Quality control at all stages of production:
the production process is performed according to strict written rules, and distributed to all our staff. From the realization of the molds to the shipping department, everything is planned and checked adequately and scrupulously.
In-depth product verification:
the quality control of the pieces produced takes place twice: the first check is carried out during the production phase, when each operator has the necessary time and the obligation to control every single piece produced. For every 100 pieces, our operators have the obligation to check the aesthetic and dimensional features with specialized tools. The second quality control takes place before the packaging of the products, when an operator performs a further check of the size and finish of 3 pieces for each individual box, in total a control variable from 100 to 200 pieces depending on the model.
This attitude allows us to offer a high quality product at a reasonable price and with pride to include among our customers the most important and famous in the world of two wheels, skis and snowboards, industry in general, hospital industry and agriculture .
